National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office's Youth Citizen's Academy will provide youth ages 14-18 with an inside look at local law enforcement. The five day academy is designed to give young people the opportunity to learn about the Sheriff’s Office, its operations and gain knowledge and understanding of the functions and responsibilities of providing law enforcement services in Sonoma County.
