To Report A Crime
The Sheriff’s Department is responsible investigating crime occurring in the unincorporated areas of Sonoma County.
Your options for reporting a crime are:
- Dial 9-1-1 in the case of an emergency
- Dial 565-2121 to have a Deputy Sheriff dispatched to your location
- Dial 565-2650 to make a report over the phone for the following types of reports and only when there is no suspect information available:
- Vandalism with property damage valued at less than $400 and there is no suspect information available
- Annoying/Harassing phone calls and no suspect information
- Petty theft with a loss of less than $400 and there is no suspect information
- Theft of Mail and there is no suspect information
- Lost Property
